Discover Folsom's plant-based gems, from vegan pizzas to Masa Taco's flavorful tacos. Refresh at Vibe Health Bar with the Beez Nuts acai bowl and explore fine dining at Scott's Seafood Roundhouse. Dive into a world of delicious plant-based options in Folsom.

If you’re a Vegan or simply looking to try out some delicious plant-based cuisine in the Folsom area you’re in the right place. I know first-hand how daunting it can be trying to find places to eat not only as a tourist but even as a local, who lives on a Vegan diet. So hopefully I can eliminate the stress by sharing some of the vegan cuisines Folsom has to offer right in your backyard or if you’re simply passing by.

As a new resident and fellow Vegan in town, it’s been quite an adventure delving into all of the local vegan-friendly food spots ranging from fine to casual dining experiences. So, let’s dive into some of the options starting with my guilty pleasure, pizza! Folsom has three pizzerias that offer customizable vegan pizzas that will have you second-guessing if it’s Vegan. Pieology, Sacramento Pizza Company, and Chicago’s Pizza with a Twist. Whether you’re dining in or ordering takeout these fresh homemade pizzas will give you a mouth-watering experience making you go for seconds.

Next up is Mas Taco Bar located at the Palladio offering a vibrant dining experience with its robust cocktail menu which pairs greatly with their Mushroom and Impossible Asado tacos, making it a great combo.

As a smoothie enthusiast, I was on the hunt to find my go-to smoothie bar which landed me at Vibe Health Bar where you can enjoy a freshly squeezed juice, smoothie, or acai bowl. I recommend their Beez Nuts acai bowl and their Greena Colada smoothie for a boost of energy. This place is great whether you’re looking for a pre- or post-workout smoothie or simply want a refreshing beverage.

Lastly, if you’re looking for a fine dining experience Scott’s Seafood Roundhouse located in Folsom’s Historic District, has a few menu highlights including their Honeynut squash Hummus starter, and gluten-free Ravioli entree. Not only is their dinner menu yummy, but so is their brunch with the options of having a savory vegetable hash or a classic sourdough avocado toast.

These are only some of the delicious plant-based options in the area, therefore be sure to take a look at the guide below to help you choose your next plant-based dining experience in Folsom.
