We’re only 28 miles from downtown Sacramento, which in reality is only a half-hour drive. Sacramento International Airport is about 33 miles from Folsom, so only about 40 minutes away.
Film in Folsom
The City of Folsom is a great location for many film projects. In Folsom we have corporate campuses, cycling trails, a historic old town, outdoor shopping centers, schools, parks and suburban neighborhoods within a 30 minute drive from downtown Sacramento. Folsom is in close proximity to two lakes, Lake Natoma and Folsom Lake, (operated by California Parks) and Folsom Prison (operated by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation).
