The Gallery at 48 Natoma invites the community to experience Tamara Murphy: Acts of Reciprocity, a dynamic exhibition of sculpture and mixed media works on view August 29 through October 23. A public opening reception will be held Friday, August 29 from 6 to 8 p.m., with light refreshments and an opportunity to meet the artist.
Murphy, a Northern California–based artist and educator, blends ceramics, glass, and fabric to create playful, genre-defying pieces that explore unexpected connections. Guided by intuition and curiosity, her work invites viewers into a conversation with form, color, and material.
The gallery is free and open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with extended evening hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6–8 p.m. and is located at 48 Natoma Street, Folsom. For more information, contact Curator William J. Simmons at wsimmons@folsom.ca.us or 916-461-6687.
