It's new. It's smooth. It's positively COOL! The Folsom Tourism Bureau, Folsom Chamber of Commerce, City of Folsom and the Folsom Historic District Association have partnered together to bring ice skating to Historic Folsom for the holiday season. Come to Folsom to hit the ice and experience the thrill of ice skating with the back drop of holiday Sutter Street. In addition to the rink, there will be weekend entertainment and the Farmer’s Wife Christmas Tree lot and a 30' lit tree sponsored by Wells Fargo.

Dates:   

Wednesday, November 26 through Sunday, January 25
Hours of Operation:

10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Daily

10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Day

 

Cost:

Adults $8 + $2 skate rental
Children 12 and under/62 and older $5 + $2 skate rental

*Two hour sessions

 

Location:

The Historic Sutter St. Ice Rink is located in the Folsom Historic District near the Light Rail Station and Folsom Chamber Offices.

 

Group Rates:

Skate rental is free for parties of 15 or more if reserved in advance. Reservations are available in November and December, Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; groups rates are available anytime in January. Group rates are not available between December 20 and January 4.

Light Rail/Parking and Transportation:

 A special holiday shuttle bus will pick up and drop off passengers at the Sunrise light rail station, Folsom Premium Outlets and historic Folsom every 30 minutes from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings through January 3rd. The last shuttle bus will depart historic Folsom at 10 p.m. Passengers that show a valid RT pass or ticket may ride the holiday shuttle free of charge.
